Unapologetic Preaching
Pastor Chris

The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare and in his temple all cry, 'Glory!'"
(Psalm 29:9)

The glory of God comes to us through His Word. Last Sunday, Pastor Chris reminded us that church is supposed to be a weekly encounter with the manifest glory of God as we gather with His people, worship His son, pray in the Spirit, and open up His Word to us.
Make Room

Starting on September 8th, we are moving back to three services: 8, 9:30, & 11AM. We're making room for more people to encounter Jesus. Church should always be a plus one gathering. Invite people to church this fall!

As part of this transition, if you are a member, please consider making a missional move and come to the 8AM or 11AM service to make space for our newer guests.
Important Parking Reminder!
This Sunday parking will NOT be available in the Mitchell-Hamline lot. Please plan to find parking on the street and add some extra time to your commute!

The budget has passed! Thank you for all the members who voted to affirm this year's budget.

Pray

Alongside pastoring Vertical Church, Pastor Chris is stepping in as the new campus pastor at University of Northwestern where he will be preaching at chapel once a week! One of the ways we can love, serve, and care for our lead pastor is to remember him and his family in our prayers as God calls Him to preach the Word at Northwestern. As the Asmus family has served us, let's serve them through prayer!
