Getting our JOY back in Contentment

(Philippians 4:12)
Last Sunday, Pastor Chris showed us how contentment is found when we turn from hinging our joy to people and, instead, to CHRIST.
Prayer Gathering

On Wednesday evening, many of us gathered together to pray for one another, the church, and the city. We know that when we pray, God moves.

August is here! At Vertical, that means that once the Lead Team, budget, and calendar is set, it's time to relaunch the ministry! By the end of the month, Sunday gatherings will have nearly doubled, and every ministry will be firing on all cylinders.

The primary focus in August is training volunteers. A ministry can have the best plans, but if the volunteers are not adequately trained to execute the ministry plan with excellence, the ministry will fail to bear fruit.
