Waking Up To Jesus

Last Sunday, we read the letter to the church in Sardis where Jesus called them to wake up. In the same way, Jesus is lovingly calling each of us to wake up and remember the Gospel and the Spirit we have received. In our sleepiness we fall into self-sufficiency and heartless works, but when we wake up to His voice, depend on Him, and give Him our hearts, we come alive.
