How Long O Lord: Psalm 13

Sometimes the worst part about suffering isn't the pain itself, but the duration. But take courage, God isn't only sovereign over your suffering, but also the duration of it. The longevity of your suffering is producing an endurance that leads you to place all of your hope and all of your trust in the Suffering Servant. So, we can say with David:

"But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me."
(Psalm 13:6)
